Great game, but even though it's in Japanese I couldn't resist to play it.. And not just play a little, I've played for almost 16 hours now and just finished the second temple.

I played for 3 hours and just reached the first temple, but I'm not going to play any further because I don't want to spoil everything before getting the Wii version on friday...

I havent even gotten to a temple. Im just walking around, getting stuck cuz i dont read japanese and admiring the graphics and what not!! I have transformed into the Wolf and am now wondering around after escaping the prison

i played it for abit the other day - im not impressed with the wii remote and the graphics are comparable to n64 - it actually looks like they were downgraded from gc

So exactly which N64 games then look as good as Twilight Princess on Wii or GC? Cuz they must have been ones i have missed out on!

i've only got the wii version. and i've made it to the second temple. but i have to keep playing cause i have a japanese wii. i can't wait until a freeloader comes out for the wii so i can start getting some english games. but anyway there shouldn't be any graphical difference as all they did with the wii version was just add in the controls for the wii.

Loving the japanese version only mean to try it out while waiting for an english release (now im 8 hours in, oops!)
and about the graphics, best on gamecube, probily better than RE4 in places (IMO) the lighting is amazing and really makes it stand out above therest.

Yeah I had to stop myself from playing and wait for tomorrow for the Wii version

It was close though, my will was almost too weak

Has anyone noticed that everything is "mirrored"

. In the Wii version (personally think it is only slightly nicer then the GC version but my TV isn't HD) for example the small crawl space when heading for Epona the first time (at the well) is on the right. Whereas on the GC it is on the left

. Quite funny (disoriented me the first half hour while playing).

Damn it is so much easier to play in English, I'm now at the same point (after about 45 minutes of play time) as where I was on the GC in Japanese (after about 2 and a half hours)

That's because Link is right-handed in the Wii version (most players are right-handed) and left-handed in the Gamecube version, they just mirrored everything.

For anyone who's interested, a new version of the in_cube plugin for Winamp has been released that'll play the music files once you extract them from the ISO.

They must be renamed from .ast to .afc though - easy way is to go into the command prompt, browse to the folder where they were extracted, and type:
ren *.ast *.afc
