Hacking Zelda on M3 Real

I recently tried enabling cheats on a game for the first time (I'm new to using cheats on the M3 Real). Specifically, trying to use the code that gives max points on the arrow mini game in Phantom Hourglass. I don't care much for mini games and I was hoping to get past it quickly.

I'm using version 3.2 system files and the default cheat file that came with it. The game is recognized by the cheat database, I have the arrow mini game cheat enabled, and I have cheats set to "always on". It does not work though. It just gives me whatever points I actually get. Is there something else I need to do? Anyone else have problems getting cheats to work on this game?
