(Yugioh Tag Force 5, used audio form Yugioh 4, but this does not use the same audio tracks that were replaced for the normal or tag battle in that game....................this is is Yugioh Tag Force 4 Music, swapping tracks with, "Yugioh Tag Force 4".................mainly for the "normal battle music"................and "tag battle music") (the goal is to be able to play yugioh 3/4/5/6/Arc 5.......without music annoyances, or the same audio replacements, which is a finished goal already)

Most likely only 2 sound tracks will be swapped..................the sound track overall is normal to good..................

1. Nova Extractor 2.4 .... check .wav format, for search only
2. Extract All Wav Files (there's a few thousand)
3. 43 Items lowest file size "313 KB" .... Music Tracks
4. change file extension to ".at3" .... Pot Player can play ".at3" files
(files match .hex foot print from "psp_snddat.bin" in yugioh 4.iso) (for swapping, writing via hex editor to "psp_snddat.bin") (file size permitting, not exceeding existing file sizes)

(use hex editor directly on the .iso, in replacing files)
(your not overwritting the "SP in hex to RIFF, pointer information" your just replacing the "RIFF to - EP, last four bytes", audio information and expanding with blanks to the EP last four bytes, when replacing audio file with smaller size)

(or if you got the WAVE files from the extractor, just overwrite the RIFF beginning of file to end of file, it won't have the "last four bytes", as long as the body of the file is smaller your replacing, you won't need that information, it will already be there, or to adjust the file)
................
................
Normal Battle Music (Yugioh Tag Force4 00035) (538kb)
REPLACED WITH (less tempo and jarring sounds)
(story mode forces you to listen to that, some tag battles also use this)
(only one replacement is really needed)

Yugioh Tag Force4 00027 (494kb)

English Translation - Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Tag Force Special (English v2.1)
same method described here
https://gbatemp.net/threads/yu-gi-oh_arc-v_tag_force_special-music-mod.580577/

WITH THE FOLLOWING CHANGES TO NORMAL BATTLE MUSIC:

(normal battle music identified)
00000003 = Yugioh DM
00000023 = Yugioh GX
00000024 = Yugioh 5D's
00000025 = Yugioh Zexal
00000004 = Yugioh Arc-V

Replacements (size limiting equal or lower)

00000003 = Yugioh DM = 0000002C
00000023 = Yugioh GX = 00000030 (file size limitation, still a better replacement)
00000024 = Yugioh 5D's = 0000002C
00000025 = Yugioh Zexal = 0000002C
00000004 = Yugioh Arc-V = 0000002C

The Music for this game is very poor...............however, just changing the normal battle music makes a big difference, even though the other audio is bad it helps stop "nauseousness", getting bored by hearing the same music over and over again............using the same audio from the other games for this game in the NORMAL BATTLE was poor choice, it was already played to death in the other games.

(in the .iso with hex editor, blank out the previous .bin entry, and write the new file in there) (the newer file your writing in, is smaller, your not changing the .iso size)

Yugioh ARC 5 No Ghetto (FOR CURRENT PATCH 2.1)

Yugioh ARC 5 No Ghetto (FOR CURRENT PATCH 2.1) VERSION 2
(after play testing, changed to the following sound tracks, take your pick between the patches, this is probably better)

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UuizgmMJOMfHso2OQFByqubkUOYYX1dH/view?usp=sharing

00000003 = Yugioh DM = 00000032
00000023 = Yugioh GX = 00000030
00000024 = Yugioh 5D's = 00000032
00000025 = Yugioh Zexal = 00000032
00000004 = Yugioh Arc-V = 00000032

I remember the disappointment, when people originally learned the old audio was recycled as the main normal battle music, and it was for all the previous games in the release. The game is okay, not the best.

    @AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

    Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

    Waiting for Anbernic's rg[whatever]SP price announcement, gimme.

    I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.
  • Veho @ Veho:
    I dread the price point.

  • Veho @ Veho:
    This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
    I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
    I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
    I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150 :unsure:
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
