Fairly easy to spot your problem, TTMenu.nds should NOT be named TTMenu.dat.nds, and TTMenu.dat should NOT be named TTMenu.nds.dat.

i forgot to untick the "hide file extensions for known file types" option

just curious, are you using the version of ysmenu that is listed as 080320? because you're ttmenu.dat is a little smaller than the newest release. go back to home.usay.jp and clicking on the etc, then clicking on nintendo ds. when you find ysmenu (use ctrl+f for ease) click on the most recent version that was released on 2008/05/22 (click on the date for the file) and follow the directions to extract the .dldi and .patch files from the original ttmenu.dat. place those 2 files in the ttmenu folder. and place the renamed ysmenu.nds(ttmenu.dat now if you are using it as main boot) in the root. change the original ttmenu.dat to ttmenu.nds before then so you don't have to re-extract that from the original zip.

i got it working now
