Hacking YS Menus skins?

I've been using the YS Menu for a while now, and though it is much stabler IMO than the standard TTDS menu, it is really bland to look at.

I've downloaded the DS skin customizer with the YS menu plugin, but my background still remains blank.

What am I doing wrong?

Make sure Ysmenu1.bmp and Ysmenu2.bmp are in your TTMenu foder.

Well that was simple, thanks! I was putting them in the skins subfolder. No wonder it didn't work!
