When it comes to the homebrew games, I fully agree. The homebrew games are either very primitive or incomplete. I have yet to find a homebrew game that has held my interest for longer than just a couple minutes.

All the various emulators (GBA and DS versions) are the homebrew stuff that IS good and very useful on a game system though.

cant decide between snemul, dsorganize and comicbookds. i use them alot i hardly even play ds games anymore hehe. probably have to say DSO for its online aac station/browser/irc capability

How come nobody even thinks about it anymore ? It must be the most complete and fascinating piece of code out there!
But I usually(let's say lately) spend more time with ZXDS.
