Looks like 2022 is the year of the Windows handheld. The floodgates have opened, and now dozens of new Windows-based gaming handhelds are crawling out of the woodwork. Here's another one: the AOKZOE A1 (or 6800U, it's not clear yet). Pronounced "Ay Okay Zoe", the team is a daughter company of the One Netbook company, which already has a range of UMPCS and Windows handhelds under their belt, so they are not completely new to the game.

What's new to the game is the Ryzen 7 6800m which should give this handheld some extra kick, and a leg up on the (current) competition.

The rest of the specs:

Production model will support Windows 11 and SteamOS.
A prototype has already made its way to tech reviewers, so here's a hands-on / first look video by ETA Prime:

Not too shabby.

Preorders are expected to start this month, with units shipping this September.

Price is not yet known, but I expect it to be spicy.

AYN Loki Zero will cost 199 Trumps, and, for this low of price people will be glad to go low spec, that's the route I believe those handheld market will be focused on.

That said, run cyberpunk at 60fps on a handheld... man... it is indeed something. With this power, people will don't even care about the crap d-pad, as they will not be using it anyway (3D gaming machine there, you know...)

Kickstarter kicks off today, I still don't know the price but I expect 4 digits.

Here's a more detailed overview:

tl;dr: it's a beast, but an expensive one.

$899.99-$1,299.99........so when/if it releases, expect $1,300.00-$1,700.00....then add tax....and inflation....and carry the one to the tens-place.
