Those moves all suck except for Explosion, which is moderately okay. But it's the Osama Bin Laden attack, so don't expect to be able to do anything.

Ok, I recently finished Pokemon Diamond upto the National Dex and erased it, and want to not rush through it this time.
The team layout I'm currently planning for the E4 is below, and I need help with it (Im still at the 3rd gym though)

I still lack 3 more pokemon, and I dont really know if the above are good AT ALL.
My goal is to have a team capable of killing fast, while also maintaining a good defense/annoyance to other sweepers.

Current Flaws:
Bastiodon vs Ground,Fighting,Water, and Steel, Might replace with Aggron?

EDIT: Kanto/Johnto/Hoehn setups are welcome too
I'll say this: your Lucario sucks. Either replace Choice Band with Life Orb or replace Calm Mind with another Special Attack (Flash Cannon? check your type coverage).

Here's a link to my team. When I fought the E4 I only had the first four of those Pokemon at ~50 each, but I dominated the E4 (except Infernape fainted more than I wanted).

Also consider Marlon Brando here:

could I inquire why you finished nat. dex then erased it? what was the point? I'm not trying to troll, just curious why beat it so far then start all over? did you get that far then regret going so fast and want to take the time to smell the roses? I myself am somehow enjoying every 3 hours or so running to the flyable towns to plant and pick berries lol

Yea, I started over because I went thru it in 4-5 days, I missed all the good parts.

How good is Life Orb over Choice Specs(The Choice Band for Spec.Atk)

And some movesets for Mr Marlon Brando would be nice >_>

also a wicked pkmn is :

Blaziken
=> - Sky uppercut
- double kick
- blaze kick
- overheat
He's good against : ghost, leaf, dark, fight, steel
not good : psychic, ground and of course : water

But if you have a strong leaf pkmn like the torterra of Fieryshadowz, but instead of swords dance a good leaf attck like giga drain or solarbeam
the problem is solved

hope I helped

Well, actually, there's no reason to use Life Orb less than Ch over Choice Specs on pure special Lucario unless you want to be prepared (but you could always switch out to something else to handle that) but get rid of Calm Mind, because if you use Calm Mind with Choice Specs on you will only be able to use Calm Mind until you switch out/faint.

If you're gonna put a Special Attack in.. put in. Leaf Storm... Giga Drain is pretty weak.. and Solarbeam takes two turns =/.. Leaf Storm although will lower your Sp. Attk is a desperate measure attack (against someone with high Def.)

Alakazam is probably the worst balanced pokemon you can get now. Incredibly high Spec Atk, and low spec and phyiscal defence (low attack too, but its natural movepool isn't affected by this). In previous versions, Alakazam was an excellent special sweeper (the elemental punches and physic, or whatever), however it has been nerfed in this game by the introduction of the special and physical attack separation. I do not recommend it if you're in a battle against a balanced and planned party.

Still, that SpA + Spd hurts. It's not as good as before but can still pack a punch.

The combination of Hyper beam, Recover, Shock wave and shadow ball is very very good
however I prefer using a luxray or a blaziken
No, it's not. Shock Wave and Hyper Beam are both pretty weak.

@Xeronage

nice team

I prefer all attack as attcks who do damage (unlike swords dance etc.)
But, everybody has his own tactics, isn't it

btw, the lucario of your team has nice attacks

OK, I won't say too much on this (because then I would just be forcing my team on you... heh) but here's a few things:

-too many Life Orbs - that recoil will hurt - I only use it on my PorygonZ, Choice items aren't bad if all your moves are attacking & you can predict.

-I prefer Agiligross (Meteor Mash/Explosion/Agility/Earthquake) but that's just me

EDIT: not enough earthquake, too many special sweepers

@Brutalboy: STAB Nightslash off 120 base attack says hi. Agiligross sends his regards.
