considering the ds cart is an r4i gold card (right?)

i read an interesting thread that did a lot of leg work to prove the gateway ds-mode flash kit was an ace3ds+. is there any proof that r4idsn is packing in the r4i gold card? i would find it rather humorous if they were just buying these cards and relabeling them, so in the end you get an ace3ds+ from r4idsn.
