Hacking Yellow Line on DS

Randomly a yellow vertical line has appeared on DS top screen. Its been there for a while because I thought it didnt matter. But over time its become more anc more annoying. Ive tried a stuck pixel fixer but it didnt work. Has anybody else had this problem? Anybody know how to fix it? Please.

I dont know the specifics when it comes to the DS, but for LCD screens in general, either the ribbon cable that attaches the screen is loose, or the screen is damaged. I hope its the former because that's easier/cheaper to repair.
