Hacking Yarudora 'skip function' not working

Hello. I started playing the recent English translation of Yarudora Double Cast, the official port of a game originally for psx, and I hit 3 bad endings.
I noticed that starting from the beginning the 'text skip' function does not work (pressing the triangle button), both in automatic and manual settings. The 'suspend' and 'flashback' options don't work either.
I am using a PSP 3004 with cfw 6.61 pro c2, but I think this is irrelevant.
Is the problem caused by the translation patch applied? Anyone else have the same issue? Is it possible to find a solution?
Otherwise I don't think I'll go back to playing it again, always going through the same, slow scenes and text.

Works for me, maybe you trying skip unread text?
