I don't think anyone in a tropical-type region like Hoenn would ever wear two pair of pants. It's a logical thing for Brendan to wear shorts.

there are enough oras mods already, xy would be more interesting when making boutique/clothing hacks (rather recolors)

Haha i cant take credit for that design then, it's a Zergoose from an adopts site i was on years ago. Haven't checked to see how its doing in years now actually. Aligning the marking in the middle was fiddly though.

Yeah, I'm personally modding XY for my models. Most of Jingle's guides are geared toward ACNL hacking but they're still very applicable.
This pastebin is also very useful for XY mods
