Hacking xk3y key , firmare in display 04421C , update to latest dashboard via usb ?

Hi all

When finding the old xbox360 and trying to update is as well

Running it with x3ky when checking in the display what version it on it displays 04421C

Seems that the x3ky site is down way back , cant seem to find a proper rls of current firmware

But if the x3ky stays on the 04421C , and i update the xbox dashboard to the current Xbox 360 Dashboard Update 2.0.17526.0

Does it give any problems ?

04421c is your drive's firmware, not the Xkey firmware.

If you want to update your xkey, you could download the update from our update center.
It's likely you don't need to update, last update came out 7 years orso ago.

Yeh, you can update to the latest dash, it's safe.

Could i read out what version im using on the x3ky ?

Its stated in the display

APP 02.01
FPGA 80.35

?

Its been way back since ive used the last time

I believe you could read it out from the display, not sure if it was "APP" that was the FW revision or not.
I know that MenuISO can display a bunch of info.


In any case, you can always update it to the latest firmware or reinstall it if you're on the latest firmware.
