ROM Hack Xenon Octet boot

I got the following questions;

what does xenon mean with Put YSMenu as YSM3.nds then execute ysm3.bat
Cause I already made a file named YSM3.nds and let it patch.

And what does Xenon mean with Put extinfo.dat / infolib.dat / savlib.dat to TTMenu/ does files already are there in that dir!
