How can I get mods for YUZU? I see a lot of codes, but YUZU has a mod folder to dump mods. I've never had to key in codes anywhere....

In the mod folder:
\60FPS\cheats\0AE74B263D8AC3CF.txt (name matches the BID of the version it's modding)

Put the 60 FPS mod in that text file.

Each mod/cheat needs it's own folder. Then you need to activate them by right clicking the game in Yuzu's main menu, and selecting 'Properties'.

I tried manually entering this and also dl it from a few posts back, no luck, battle is still stuck at 30fps with unlock frame rate on 2.1.1 patch

It doesn't seem to work for me either or I'm doing something wrong? For Yuzu at least, haven't tried Ryujinx.

I have a file named 0AE74B263D8AC3CF.txt in AppData\Roaming\yuzu\load\010074F013262000\60fps\cheats with this code/content :

Thank you for the cheat. But I do not think it is working for 2.1.1

It works, Main menu will still be at 30fps since that is the hook used to keep cutscenes at 30fps and not break them.

Post automatically merged:

I tried further than the main menu :)

It's not working for me in Yuzu. I don't understand the difference between the cheat file and the "mod" file and why you'd choose one over the other. But I'm pretty sure something is not right. Perhaps the memory addresses end up different between the emulators.

Very odd....

Tested it for my curiosity (my PC can only get to around 45 FPS, so I don't use the 60 FPS mod), and I can confirm that the code seems to work in Ryujinx, but doesn't seem to work in Yuzu...

Especially odd as the same code worked for both previously.

Yes, I did test past the main menu. You are showing us Ryujinx, I figured it would work there, but in Yuzu like others said it doesn't seem to work for some reason. I think Ryujinx handles cheats or the filesystem better? I would really prefer using Yuzu because the particles are fixed in High accuracy and I seem to be getting better performance overall. Still, I appreciate your answer.

Can anyone update the moon jump code and movement speed and other codes for update 2.1.1. I can't seem to make it work in yuzu.

Why 60 FPS pchtxt mod exists? Because yuzu implementation of cheats sucks. It is a known fact for years. That's why theboy181 as yuzu user was always more leaning towards pchtxt.

Bitch to yuzu devs to finally fix them. They must screwed up pretty hard somewhere if they have issues with implementing cheats properly.

Cheat works fine on both original hardware and RyujinX.

Yeah if it doesn't work on Yuzu that's a Yuzu problem. I've tested it and it works on real hardware and Ryujinx (all that matters to me)
That's meaningless since it's not being run by hardware. It's a memory patch being applied by software added to the system.

I've been getting a lot of DM's today from people telling me that cheats aren't working anymore on Yuzu and they have not changed anything, so that means something got broke on Yuzu in recent updates.

It's not meaningless. Emulators are supposed to Emulate the real hardware, this works on real hardware and Ryujinx. 99.9% of all mods/cheats are made on real hardware, the main exception is theboy181 and a few others that have made the mods using the emulator.

Hardware does not apply cheats. Software hacks do. You've added software to your switch which is applying the cheats, yes?

You are modifying the memory or functions in the main with cheats/mods yes but you still need to use the hardware's file system, and I use Edizon SE, and Breeze on real hardware. The reason the cheats aren't working on Yuzu right is the due to the emulated file system.

If you think a filesystem is hardware there's no point in discussing further.
