ROM Hack xdeltaUI will not patch

Hey people, i have been using xdeltaUI to try and patch several different patches to 0434 new super mario bros USA, and i have been downloading the new super mario bros from several different places to make sure that the file was not the problem. And it just won't work for me, i am pretty sure i have done everything right.

Any sugestions??

But then i need to find the hacks/patches as ips file right?
The ones i got are XDELTA and will not work in Lunar right?
