if you mod your console, whatever the compny's (nintendo, microsoft, sony, sega), they will detect it as soon as you will turn it on
Then, they will call police department near where you are, they will give them your adress, and expect police/fbi/interpol/army/navy to bursy through your door within 8 minutes.
You better run right after you turn on the console, that's what most people do to trick the authorities
