Xbox Picture Problem, help identifying this xbox

Sup y'all
Got an Xbox delivered from shpock today(Craigslist equivalent), so I don't know which door to knock to return it if its faulty, but I want to believe them.
Check the picture quality, the Xbox logo and Driv3r look fine, but GTA 3 the picture is divided & the xbmc menu that it boots to, the colors are messed up.

Any ideas? Was pictured with component cables, but bag it came in only had s video, reckon that's what's up? I've got it connected with component cables, not the s video it came with.
Be cool to get this running properly, need to get unleashed X setup on there.
Also there was a menu to lock and unlock harddrive in evox dash but can't find it now

Have you tried the s video cable to see if it changes? Looks like that's the issue, like it's set for s video out, not component, but I could be wrong. Or is there a way to change output settings in dash? Been so long since I've been on orig xbox.

I have since tried with the scart/svid cable it came with and that works fine.
Must be a bad setting somewhere for component.
Hoping to get unleashed X set as main dash and reflash with latest files &have the option to use component without the picture error

Might be a PAL game.

Bad cable. Try to move in around on each end. Probably a wire broke and had bad contact.

I believe I found the issue.
Once I updated the softmod, (was a pain, few speed bumps but got there) on SID I installed HD softmod and not RGB, picture now works as it should with component cables.
Solution: select install HD softmod and not RGB
