Gaming XBOX original modded EVOLUTION X

I’m facing a weird problem with my Xbox evolution x. Sometimes boots with no X logo and you need to reboot it many times in order to run evolution x. Does anybody face something similar?

1) Is it softmodded (TSOP or exploits) or hardmodded?
2) Do you have a backup of the HDD?
3) Have you checked the capacitors?

1) I don't know because someone else made it for me.
2) No I don't
3) No but isn't it weird the fact that sometimes boots normally with X evo mode and shows all the games that are saved at the hard drive?

The randomness makes me suspect either the HDD or the capacitors.

I would be looking to dump the BIOS and backup the HDD at a minimum.

Can you open it up and tell us if you see a chip?
