Phil Spencer calls the console "the most powerful console ever made". Featuring 6 teraflops of GPU power and 12 gigabytes of memory, the console is designed to run games in 4K HDR including 4K Bluray playback. It will feature compatibility with all Xbox One accessories and games, running even older games at 4K, using supersampling and anisotropic filtering to make the games look better on 4K as well as 1080p TVs. The system will be liquid-cooled as well. It is also the smallest Xbox yet. The system is set to launch worldwide on November 7th. The price will be $499 USD.

Compared to Sony's exclusives for PS4 this is quite pitiful. For transparency I own both PS4 & XB1.
Which of these will/are on PC?
I agree it is lackluster. The only exclusives i cared about on the PS4 were Bloodborne, The Last Guardian, and PT. Although I haven't played the new Uncharted yet.

Sony is doing very well with me right now, honestly with their release practices recently they are virtually allowing anyone to publish for the PS4 which is almost overwhelming to me, almost too many games to get (well not almost, it is actually) hard to keep up with.

PS4 is on par to have as many games and as diverse a software catalog as PS2 and that's saying something.

MS had better have some heavy hitters in that lineup of the exclusives they are touting this year, otherwise I will be disappointed (yet again). Crackdown 3 and Cuphead are the only 2 games I'm anticipating on XB1 this year.
Oh i don't doubt that Sony's line of games is stellar and impresive, i should have been more clear on the fact that i don't hate their games, i hate the company.
As for the heavy hitters you mentioned, it was a bad idea on MC part to port them to PC...Or was it, i'm really not sure.

Aw, Xbox One X? Not saying it's bad but Xbox Scorpio was much better.

The console design looks uninspired just as much as PS4 Pro, don't know why Microsoft/Sony couldn't make stylish looking designs.

Has anyone thought that it kind of looks like a PS2?

Except less Edgy :creep:
Good comparison although the Xbox X just reminded me of Xbox One S in black. So, in a way those who wanted a black Xbox One S now exists.

I don't think they care because they know people are going to buy it anyways.

I'm surprised how damn small it is considering whats under the hood.

And the Wii was just an overclocked Gamecube. :creep:
Or a Slim GameCube. :p

By the way, I can't believe it but I'm hyped for Dragon Ball: Fighter Z. :) I'll have to buy a PS4 because it's not coming to the Switch... oh well, typical.

We all have to make painful sacrifices. I got a PS4 just for Bloodborne and the Last Guardian and now i'm stuck with the thing. :glare:

It might be an incredibly powerful console, but does it have any games?
Tons of multiplats so there's always games to play on it. Microsoft knows its audience.

Eh, what about Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy? Not a fan of Crash Bandicoot?

On August there's going to be a PS4 remaster of Jak & Daxter which will be bundled with Uncharted: Lost Legacy.

I never grew up with Crash so i have no nostalgia for it. As for uncharted, my dad will be all over that. He has played and beaten all 4. And for Jack and Daxter, I have the original on the PS2

Who can't wait to hear stories of the liquid cooling leaking?
It will be the new Red Ring of Death. :creep:
