Xbox One Windows receiver works with Xbox Series controller?

About 5 years ago I bought Xbox One Controller with Windows 10 USB receiver.
Now the controller's analog sticks are drifting.
My question is, if I buy a new Xbox Series controller, will it work with my Windows receiver?

Not sure, but the Series controller is just bluetooth so if it ends up not working with the receiver, just get a bluetooth adapter. (Or just pair it if you already have bluetooth)

I know that working with Bluetooth, i have used before so, but there are limitations.
If the batteries "near dead" are, then the games are lagging, and the headset jack won't work with bluetooth connection.
That's why I bought the Windows receiver.

Yes it will work. Xbox one and Series controllers use the same communication method, hence why xbox one controllers can be used on series consoles.

I bought the Series Controller.
It's works fine with the Xbox One Windows 10 receiver.
