I got a Xbox one phat for free. But it is completely dead.
I have tried a different power supply and I have swaped the front plate so that is ruled out.
The inside is super clean.
The previous owner said the Xbox worked sometimes a few years ago and been stored away since. But it was a gamble if it started each day.
Have anyone experience this problem? Is there any components that break more often than I should look into?

Check for shorts around the power connector and check for any burnt components on the power rail. Do you have a multi meter?

I have a multimeter, so I will try to see if i can find something. All of the components looks fine at first glance

Most likely a shorted mosfet in the powerrail. If so, the 12v line should be shorted. So check the 12v line if its shorted. After this make visual inspection of every mosfet. Use a microscope, sometimes its very hard to see. You can even use a multimeter. Should be a fast fix. If the console is completely dead, chances are good for a fix. If its a beep on beep off, its game over in most cases
