This uprade consists of replacing the board inside the memory unit with one of a USB flash drive.
The memory unit of the xbox 360 uses 3.3 v and a usb device uses 5v but because the memory and ic of the usb flash drive uses 3.3v it simply works.
Now I don't know if this work works with any usb flash drive but I tried with two of them which are usb 2.0 one of 2 gb and one of 8 gb.
From the attached pictures you can see how I proceeded and the hardest thing was removing the ports. On the usb flash drive, I cut the metal case and then unsoldered the pins, and on the memory unit, I heated each pin and with the help of a cutter blade, I lifted them.
