I have copied minecraft from the disc, using FSD 3 (Freestyle dash 3), including title update.

when i play the game (without disc in) it will only let me play the tutorial, and say the full game needs unlocking.

i have tried using xm360v2 to get the full version, but the program is not able to recognise minecraft, im assuming because the minecraft copy doesnt show up in demo games.
is there a way to use the title update or get the full version, or do i have to download an ico?

thanks

Try and unlock the trial with 360 content manager.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to get the XBLA version.
i got the program to half work. it says it can see the xbox, but it cant connect to see files. it tells me to enable samba server (which i did) and restart FSD (i also did)

Connect to the same IP that you use for FTP.
Try connecting a few times, program has a small bug that it can't connect the first few attempts.
Atleast for me.
Okay, i tried Xbox Neighbourhood on the ip ad it worked fine. Content manager still doesnt want to work. i tried restarting FSD3 and connecting multiple times.
My laptop is connected directly to router via ethernet, same for the xbox. the xbox does not have internet, but its got an ip.
i was able to connect to FSD3 by typing ip into chrome, but nothing helpful.

if you would like to chat via discord, that would be much easier. (blackoes#0004)

try yaris swap to unlock the game. btw, what does the game look like (i.e. files/folders)?

how would i do that?

there should be a content folder on the internal hdd. if that's where the rest of your xbla games are, put it in there. it's basically an xbla game on a disc. that's why it's not showing up under demos.

i put the whole minecraft folder in content. didnt show up in demos. i put the files from the minecraft folder in content. didnt show up in demos.

what is inside the content folder? you want to put the content of the content folder in the content folder of the internal hdd.

with the whole minecraft folder in HDD content folder, minecraft showed up in xm360 and i was able to patch it. now that its patched i can move it anywhere (e.g. to folder so it shows up in demos) right?

yes, xbla can be anywhere.

edit: scratch that, if you mean demos in the original dashboard, then it needs to be in the content folder I believe.
