X-COM UFO help !

ok this is a very very old DOS game i need help getting to run on my PC !

i have downloaded

X-COM UFO Defense - Windows XP Edition i run it and the GEOSCAPE screen runs perfectly but in battle everything is SPED UP ! ?


i have tried dosbox and its even super fast on that too !

anyone know what i can do i have 4 different versions of this game !

all of these versions i have tried and all run super fast !

anyone know what im doing wrong ?

well duh d00d. go get up on your old dos machine with 64k ram. put that floppy disk version on some floppy disks and boots installs and enjoys!

that version really isnt meant for the PC its on a litttle screen


i have the full version ppl are playing it on there pc there has to be a way

the game runs on my pc fine but its SUPER FAST i dont know what to do

Hey

The way to run it is with a small program that slows down your pc. Can't remember the name. That's the way I re-played it a couple of years ago. You can also give a try to UFO Afterlight, is the most similar game out there resembling Xcom

my computer stinks and cant run new game i have 32 mbs of video memory lol


whats the name of the computer program that slows down my pc ?

Go to The Underdogs and look for "DOSBox" Dual-core seems to have problems with this, or at least did, if I remember right. Darn not being able to play System Shock 2.
