Why not make a better UI ? :P
Happy new year!
it's coming, just wait few days ;)
it's rewritten entirely in c++ instead of c, so there are few bugs to fix.
it already works (sources are online and public), but has a bug when using the HBL elf version (return to wup installer crashes).

I searched a lot and didn't find anything about wii games (not wii u).

Will it work with Wii games, the ones available for retail and eshop? Or are they considered VC game?
They are like VC games (officially they are named VC wii), but run in vWii mode.
they work fine, you can install them the same way than other WiiU games.

Thank-you.... I was looking all over for an answer to installing VC "Wii" Games. and playing .

So it's really that simple? I download the VC Wii game, use Haxchi / Signature patcher to install it with WUP, and also to play it? No hacks or mods to the vWii at all?

Yes, but there aren't that many wii vc games right now. People are working on injecting new ones.

can you guide me where to find it ?

There's no official release yet, only the sources (work in progress).
I think the developer might want to finalize it before an official release/announce/thread.
that would not be nice to leak a self-compiled incomplete version.
I'll keep users updated (or the dev will make an oficial thread) when it's ready.

But if another dev want to help, maybe looking at the sources could speed the release :p
I'll ask him if it's fine to post here.

clear , thank you :)

I got permission, here you go :
https://sourceforge.net/p/wup-installer-gx2/code/HEAD/tree/

Like said, there's no compiled version yet.
Commits are missing descriptions, but the latest commit is working and install games from HBL 2.1 channel only.
The "install from Miimaker" (hbl 1.x, the one not in channel version) is crashing when returning to the installer and is not commited yet, so other developers who want to help will not see the needed sources.

I'm curious to see how it looks like, but let's not get this too much offtopic, he will make a new thread with the official release :)
@dj_skual you got any picture to tease us?

If you only see an INSTALL folder no matter how many folders are in the INSTALL folder, then you probably built your card using OSX rather than Windows. OSX puts many hidden files (I think for indexing stuff) that messes with the way Wud Installer searches for subfolders.

The fix for me was to put it on a Windows machine, enable hidden files, then nuke all of them.

So I only would need NUS+TIK just like WiiU games? Nothing else but Wup Installer? Will it work with a single USB storage to both Wii and WiiU games?

Yes, but there aren't that many wii vc games right now. People are working on injecting new ones.

Could you please PM me a existing example?

Are you asking for me to pm you a link to a vc wii game? I can't do that as it's against the rules to share copyrighted files here.

Also, you need the files to be in an installable format - wud does not work with wupinstaller. But all you need is the install files which includes a ticket. You can use one hdd for games installed to the wiiu system memory, but you can't use wiiflow or usbloader gx on the same hdd because of the proprietary wiiu format.

No, I asked you for a local tutorial, just like the current thread. Sorry if I made you misunderstand me.

hm I use cbhc with homebrew launcher channel and wup installer 1.3, but I can not install dlc and vc games why? I think I have sig patches, because I can start the homebrew launcher channel. I downloaded this game with wiiu usb helper.

The error message might help us help you. Without that, a first guess is that your download is corrupt. Try downloading with another tool.

the error code is 0xFFFBF440.
What's the title, and since 441 and 442 have to do with tickets, what method are you using to generate your ticket (Archive, that title key site, or another site?)

As a test, I pulled and installed Balloon Fight (EUR) with Helper pointing to that title key site. It installed without a problem. I don't use CBHC, but I haven't heard of cases where Haxchi Sysmenu and CBHC produced different results with wupinstaller.
