I want to play pokemon neo Y and I'm trying to put braindump onto my sd card... I unzip the .7z file and transfer my files into my 3ds folder then, I take out my sd and place it into my n3ds and load up ninjahax.... its not there in the menu... I thought I had misplaced the file or something but, I load the sd card in the pc and the folder is empty... no .3dsx or .xml file...

its not corrupt... I have been ejecting it safely this whole time... I get no notification about it being corrupted or that something is wrong with the sd...
Sometimes it wont tell you, whether you have been ejecting it properly or not.
So I'll ask a better question, were you running out of space on your sd card? And where did you buy it from?

I got it from amazon and this is the status of my sd card...

I've had the same issue in the past. No matter what I do to the card, no changes persist. No formats, no file deletions, nothing. I think your card is dead.

My card was a 64GB Sandisk Ultra that was in use for a few years before I formatted it for emuNAND using the Gateway software. Formatting emuNAND is a pretty heavy operation, so I guess my card reached its write limit, which all flash memory has.

If you got it from a 3rd party seller on Amazon it could be a fake card.
But more likely it's just corrupted. Try running CheckDisk on it.
I used checkdisk on it 3 times to make sure... i also had the security and maintenance window open to check for sure and all drives are working properly...

Chances are it's fake, it could be a 8gb card disguised as a 64gb one (common ones would be SDHC with 64gb when those clearly don't exist), sd cards doesn't reach their write limit until 3 or 4 years average.

Its not defective, its "fake".
If you got it via Ebay or Amazon, just ask for a refund.

Only 90mb okey? That's weird even for fake cards.

I have a few questions... It's your first use of the card?
If not, what other uses it has?

Agreeing with what other people say, if you bought it to a 3rd party Amazon seller (Amazon Marketplace) you could have been scammed.
Chinesse sellers usually do that trick: they sell faulty or lower capacity cards and use a custom program to fake the volume info. They even print very convincing logos and info on the sd cards and the package.
My sorryes

No its an error in SD cards, happens when it reaches the end of its R/W life span thus it can not retain written files or properly read 50-90% of files, backup your files and your emu nand should be dump able if there is a PC tool to dump it, in short buy a new SD
