That's something that's asked about a lot and it probably won't happen. I'd recommend checking out the Hori Battle Pad if you really want a NGC like controller.

Well, it can, but no one wants to put in that level of work. There's a lot of speculation on the forums you can search for if you want a more in-depth answer, but the short answer is: it's too much work and time with very little benefit.
