With all the assloads of text in pokemon games, I figure it would take a looong time to translate, can anyone who knows more than me (ie. anything) be able to help me out.
ROM Hack Would it be better to wait for the english hg/ss rom to drop?

The english roms won't be out for months, until early next year.
Just wait for the japanese ones to be translated to playable, which they already are.
If you really wanted it mostly english, you could do it yourself, just take the text from the GBC games.
