Gaming Would a faster memory card improve game play emulation speed

Before I go out and buy a high speed memory card for my PSP would a faster memory card improve game play emulation speed
 
Only if the lag you're talking about derives from the stick and not the emulator compatibility itself.

So best example (not using an emulator) is FMV in games. If FMV stutters in an ISO that's due to stick speed 90% of the time.

Do you think it would be worth it to change from SONY pro duo Mark2 to SONY pro-HG duo HX Memory Stick
 
I doubt it. Wouldn't the game be loaded into memory anyway? The emulator wouldn't even need to access the memory stick unless it was making/loading savestates

So all it would do is speed up loading time of games
