World's best companies 2009

The management-consulting-company A.T. Kearney made a list of the 40 worlwide most successful companies in the year 2009.

To create the list they examined the 2,500 largest publicly listed companies in the world. Of these Kearney's team singled out those with a minimum of $10 billion in sales in 2008, at least 25% of which came from outside the company's home region. It then ranked the companies on their sales growth and value creation—the rise of market capitalization after subtracting any increase in capital—over the past five years.

As they announced Nintendo is official the most successful company of the world in this year.

Nintendo #1 for obvious reasons of course and Microsoft got what they deserved today.

but its a fact that as effect of the economic crisis, microsoft and sony had a lot of losses, nintendo was the only company within the big three which could make profit in this time anyway:.

i dont totally know why but could it be cuz of the wii sales? or the dsi sales cuz i dont see anything else

Ninty won because their items are cheap and more sturdy for kids to use.
