Homebrew Working Tegra x1 GC/Wii emulator hacking progress

yes i have one and i have Hyperspin setup with thousands of games. Gamecube and wii runs perfect and up-scales to hd
That's not what I'm asking... Has anyone tried installing the apk on a US shield. I'm more curious to know if the Android file is locked down.

Basically Android has the ability to run AAA Videogames. But only supported by companies like Nvidia.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/dev?id=7748882896084752769

And I've been curious to know what special is the NVIDIA ROM based on Android, which in turn is based on Linux ... and this "emulator" Wii on Nvidia Shield could work on a basic version of Android ?. I really do not know, but I'm curious how the executable file (APK) can be and what components make it work only on Nvidia

I don't know about the GameCube games specifically, but other NVidia exclusives like MGR and HL2 are literally just marked on the store as incompatible with anything that isn't the NVidia Shield. You can plop them on other devices just fine.

Hmm, been trying to spoof the Play Store as a Shield TV, with location spoofing in China and can't find the app, is it on the Play Store or do they have it on a proprietary app for Shield TV for GC/Wii games? Alternatively would be nice if OP could provide it, but I guess that's not allowed on here :/

Then this could not be a Wii emulator, if not a port perfectly. In addition the game has considerable changes like the buttons.

uh... no?
that's a streaming application.

The game is running on PC.

And no, most pre 2018 handsets do not support Full OpenGL, only GLES, the Lightspeed Shield Exclusives and the Konami Shield ports require Full OpenGL

I do not know if it is allowed to speak about material protected by copyright. But then could there be an official Nintendo Wii emulator on Android? As POPS for PSX on PS2. Maybe if it is an emulator, but if it were a port, it would be useless to actually remove it only in China seeing that also Nvidia Shield is available in other continents. Another thing, this "emulator" executes the games via Streaming ?.

Please stop posting nonsense
That's streaming via splashtop

That video is splashtop, however they are correct - MGR is available to play natively on the shield. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nvidia.metalgearrisingrevengeance

Wrong video, but my point still stands

Hmm, now if anyone is able to get the apk. I would be interested in testing it on Switch with this: https://anbox.io/ it should give us a idea of how the emulator would perform vs Linux Dolphin.

Would still be nice to see how the Nintendo developed version performs, it seems to perform better than android dolphin on shield tv.

Anbox already works if Arch supports snap? The Dolphin dev used it?
