Hacking working latest game on CFW

hi. I downloaded a .cia file of Etrian Mystery Dungeon. and tested it on CFW. i was surprise that it worked. isnt this game a latest game.? i googled it and it's initial released was March 5, 2015 US version. why this game worked and not POKEMON X,Y,AS,OR and SSB and some other games pass 7.x..? dont they have the same encryption?

some games use different sdks, and some work on 4.5. Luckily enough, it seems etrian mystery dungeon is using a lower sdk so it works with cfw
