I checked his website just now and it seems he is now back after five months. His official website is here.

Finally, we hear something from HtheB again!
Yes that's right, I wasn't available for some time because of my study.
I started now with my internship, so now I've got time
to fix all the things (Beup Live)

Promise, I will release it as soon as possible...

Thank the Lord.

Although, MSN is depressing to me these days, haven't signed on in months pretty much.

So I don't think I will even use the new release.

I read about this homebrew programm and was dissapointed it didn't work for me, but this message makes me glad again

I dont kow how t think about it your live goes sure in the first place but still when he was studying he could report like jes i cant work on it because my study but every time he had an excuse ... so this time i hope he will prove it dammed

He said the same thing about 6 months ago...

I'm not counting on him making another release, but kudos to him if he does.

Anyways, htheb is supposedly not much with actual development, he just designed it or something...

HtheB picked up the program when the kevinc stopped making it.
He fixes the codes everytime the MSN servers change and also he gives it new features and stuff.
If it wasn't for HtheB Beup would have died long before it did.

Are you sure about that?

IIRC, he just did the Live skin, and the fixed version was done by someone else.

I think his original "claim to fame" was indeed fixing it by changing the server IP, but then again I've never used the program so I don't know too much about the details.

Maybe not major features, but I know he doesn't just change the IPs.
Hey, but the source code was released to public but no one else fixed it.
So if he does, then I think that's good enough. Ha ha ha.

I seriously want him to fix it, because I have been messing with old kevinc source, and still have no idea on how to change the IP adresses or to upgrade the SSL certificate.. I have one clue or 2, but MSN servers are a pain in the ass to find and ping to get the ip. I still have no idea what the nexus server IP is (It used to be nexus.passport.com, but that's dead) That, and the old Beup GUI was ugly.
