Gaming Wood R4 - how do cheats work?

I read a guide here on GBATemp, I copied the USRCHEAT.DAT file into the cheats folder in __rpg (w/e it's called)

In the Wood menu I opened the cheats folder and nothing was there.

I copied the USRCHEAT.DAT again onto my SD card and still the same problem. Any help?

Are you having problems starting the cheats? or getting them on your card?

If you want to activate them, you have to push Y, which brings up your file information, and then X to bring up the cheats.
