Hacking Wood R4 cheats not working.

I'm using Wood for R4 v1.43, and the latest cheat.dat file but they aren't working.
It's all in the right folder, and I have all the right things enabled in the settings. I can call up the file info, and it has the "cheats" option, but pressing X, or even selecting it with the touchscreen brings absolutely nothing up, I've checked and all the games I'm using are on the usrcheat.dat file, and there's even the little animation on the button itself to show it's been pressed, but still, absolutely nothing.

Any help/ideas would be much appreciated, thanks.

Try to update the file using wifi instead of adding it manually, and see what happens? It would be in the wood R4 start menu under Tools

use usrcheat.dat.

Got it sorted now, just used R4CCE to make a new database and copied over only the games I'm playing from the usrcheat.dat file I downloaded from the site. Guess it was just an extreme case of the bug they mentioned in the readme file.
