Wireless Vive Extension

I have a wireless Vive and I'd like to be able to use it with a much more powerful computer that's in the room next door. I purchased a 50Ω coax cable to extend the antenna but the software never gets past the "initializing" phase with the antenna extended.

Does anyone have ideas for how I could make this work without upgrading the VR computer and without moving it or the wall?
