If it shows as Installed, it shouldn't show up again. However, for the next few times you update I'd keep an eye out for it. Regardless of which Windows I have, pirated or legit, I always have automatic updates download updates but let me choose when/which to install, because I don't like updates like that spying on me. I have two computers with legit Windows 7 and I still don't install WAT because it's invading my privacy in my opinion.

For sure. Just changed my settings so that it doesn't install on its own.
How would you actually know if the whole WAT is active on your computer?

open computer then system info, at the bottem you won't see the WGA logo
