ok so i try to delete ALOT OF STUFF to free up disc space liker programs and pics but i go to my computer every like 30 minutes i refresh the space would go even lower after i deleted a bunch of stuff help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate to assume that you haven't checked this already, but are you downloading something?

If not (which is more than likely the case), then the only advice I can give you is to go to Google. A Google search of "losing disk space" introduces lots of instances. I'm afraid that with your lack of details as to your situation, doing a virus scan and combing through the results for something that works may be your only option, which may be a bit of a pain, considering all of the potential reasons the disk space decrease could be happening. It may some sort of virus-type thing, but it could be something different. In one case, someone noticed that a McAfee process was eating TONS of disk space through huge temporary files. The possibilities are boundless, I'm afraid.

U r DELETING the files, right? Just moving them to the trashcan doesn't get rid of the space they're using. You also need to empty the trash. As geoflcl said it could be many things, but my guess would be simply some large temporary files.

Download TreeSize Free. It is a freeware program that will find the files and folders on your Harddrive that are taking up the most space. Either delete the largest ones you find, or post here what they are if you're not sure what the files are for.

Perhaps he's set his OS to make a system restore point really, really often?
Otherwise, as another user said, it might be a download.

Out of interest, how large is your hard drive? There really shouldn't be too much that can fill a standard hard drive that quick.

Probably a restore point being created. I loose Gigs of HDD space everytime it creates one.
If you want to free files, you can download CCLeaner. Don't ask me for the link. A simple Google search would have given you the answer.
