Windows Update? is it working?

Can anyone check if windows update is working I just clean installed windows and can't acess the page after choosing "custom or express"

Works fine for me, try lowering your security settings in IE.

Is it possible that you just aren't waiting long enough for the page to update? On older computers (like 5 years or more) getting from the scan where the green bar scrolls to the list of available updates can take AGES especially on after clean install.

no, something messed up my windows update connection. I can acess the page from another 2 pcs in the house. it says error 800040005
