Maybe its Funny to point out that a decade ago a PSP could already run Win95. Even my old Nokia N95 could do it :P
I'm glad Nintendo finally came to the point where this is possible on their handhelds....
Nintendo consoles aren't made to be fast, they're made to be good enough for the mobile games Nintendo develops for them to run

Is this dosbox?
Through RetroArch 3DS

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Has anyone tried upgrading to 98?
That would most likely be tremendously slow, judging by how slow 95 is already. Before trying it, I would recommend we wait for mouse movement and a proper keyboard!

I speed issue is most likely because this is running of an SD card. I've tried getting 9x on a USB and it was horribly slow on a dual core with 4gb of ram.

Drag the files into a folder( that is in the 3ds folder in your sd card) with the same name as the .3dsx file.

Can I get someone to test my build to make sure it's actually booting on a N3DS properly? I've asked a few people but nobody seems to want to help me out since I don't have one :/

<snip, thanks @einstein95 for testing and confirming that they do in fact boot.>

I'm not going to provide a CIA because it's still a WIP, I just want to make sure my build works properly. Thanks in advance!

Note: I've also made a few changes to the banner to mention that it's a DOSBox build, and I had to borrow @Steveice10's Gameyob banner sound since the one included in retroarch wouldn't work properly when using the banner maker.

I would be willing to test it if you haven't already found people to do it.

Usb 2.0 can't read/write at the same time, which is why it's slow. This limitation doesn't apply to SDcards.
