I dont know if this will run if you already have win7 but it told me i couldn't run aero

windows 7 upgrade Advisor

Isn't a radeon 3100 a pretty old card? Because he probably doesn't have Direct x10 if it's so old...

The ATI 3100 should have DX10. Or at least my AMD set with the 3200 does. According to Wikipedia it does: Linky

If you don't trust it, I guess you can look elsewhere. And really, I wouldn't say it's THAT OLD. It's probably around 2-3 years old, which is within Vista's age.

back now sorry. the laptop is a frw years old and did come with vista on it but ive upgraded it and it did have aero running before. i have teamviewer installed if you want to help through remote assistance
