I never felt it was that barren. Felt like it was always something you could do.

If you are sitting alone in the middle of a desert/ocean/whatever you can always start a thumb war against yourself but it does not make for a compelling way to pass the time.

I think it was genshin impact which kinda looks more like a tales game rather than botw.

I came across the video on Nintendo's YouTube channel and it looks magical. It's basically exactly BotW but with worse graphics (not bad, just somewhat dated looking), and that's not a bad thing, watching the trailer made me feel much the same way watching the original BotW reveal did, and they chose some great music to use for the trailer. I hope all the music in the game is as good as that.

BotW was already looking outdated, this is not just "dated looking" this game looks miles better, but not on the switch.

BotW was already looking outdated, this is not just "dated looking" this game looks miles better, but not on the switch.

I guess it does look better on PC, BotW just seems to have more fine detail to the graphics to break up the solid colors a bit.

have you ever played an island survival game before? they usually end up sucking. they usually have very little combat too (hunting isn't combat) so i'm not getting my hopes up for this especially if it has a bad crafting system (they usually do)

Ark: Survival Evolved is pretty great.
