Hacking win2ds help

Ok when i go to connect on win2ds it stays on waiting screen. idk what im supposed to do!.

all i do is press auto connect it goes i didnt edit a pass on win3ds program so i left it and then just left the ip and it stays at waiting i have multiple routers at my hous if that helps at all

Setting this thing up is kinda tricky, you need to port forward a port on the address for your computer running the server and you need to change the ip address in the ds client to connect to address of your computer running the server. I found it kind of confusing myself, and it took me a little to figure out, but I got it eventually.
