I've looked on google already but can't find non-conflicting answers..

While waiting for wii-u to be hacked some day, I decided to try and hack the vWii part of the wii-u..
I want to do smash-stack exploit to install HBC..
I have jap wii-u though but I am in good old USA..
I could order jap SSBB game from japan, but that would be expensive; would be much cheaper to get crappy old used USA SSBB..

But question is: Will USA SSBB work on jap vWii for the use of smash-stack exploit?..

No, you need homebrew already to enable region-free.

there are more games than just smash, that are exploitable, maybe one of these is cheaper to get for you? you still need the jap version though

Oh okay, thanks every one for your replies..
Yeah I saw that page before, showing the different exploitable games.. I will pick up a jap version of one of them before too long..
    Thanks!..

I was trying to see if it would be possible to avoid having to pay more money to get a japanese version of a game when in its stead I could use a USA game.. I didn't want to spend money on a USA version of the game, just to find out that I then have to buy an other version of the game (jap).. So, the worst thing that could happen is me spending money that I wouldn't have had to spend if I could merely ask a question on this forum and get some kind of informed response..
Thanks any way for your advice though..
