Gaming Will this work?

I want to connect my PS3 to my Acer 18.5" G195HQLBD LED monitor and I am wondering if this(see attached link) will work?

If it won't or if there are cheaper options please tell me.

Hum, I don't think so. This cable is for using a TV as a comuter monitor. So basically your computer will send the image to your TV. If you replace TV by PS3, obviously, it doesn't work. I think you need something like a HDMI TV tuner (I don't know if it exists)
