Hacking Will there be an exploit for 5.50?

The upcoming new OFW updates sounds amazeballs.
Using your own wallpaper from a flash drive on the User Menu.

Should I go ahead and update, if there's gonna be an exploit? Or wait it out?

no one knows there could be one but until the hackers get 5.50 and sony will have the wallpaper feature on lockdown so no one can exploit it rn just wait 2 weeks+ and see if there will be an exploit

"h-hang on dad, yea yea i know not to call you at work, yea hang on" my dad who works at sony told me there is LITERALLY no way of knowing ( partly because the firmware isnt even out yet and more over, even if it was, we would have no way of knowing unless we could could travel to the future, but since we can't the best strategy is to wait and find out.

I'd just stay on 5.0x if you really want homebrew soon (tm). Way sooner than 5.50, but ofcoure vulnerabilities has to be found on the future 5.50.
I'm sure the Rest Mode Exploit will be patched on 5.50.

Willing to bet eventually... however if you want to use hacks the most important rule. Don't update your device. You can always update later if needed but downgrading is not an option (at least usually it isn't.)
