ROM Hack Will the R4 work on 2DS for old games?

Hi,

I just ordered a 2DS. I like old school games, and all of them are not on the website to download but I know there are mods for them. Will the R4 card work for the 2DS if I want to play old Nintendo games and DS Lite games like Paperboy and Mario Kart? I don't want to waste my money on an R4 card if it's not gonna work.

Beware of clones of the R4. Yes the r4 will work. Just be sure you get a legit one. I got this one here for my dslite. I still use it, but now on my DSi XL1.4.5 and 2ds xl.

Technically all the R4 cards in the wild nowadays are clones, just that some are better than others.
That cart is good but I might suggest the R4i Gold 3DS Plus instead for the integrated ntrboot, price is the same.
