When and if the Switch Lite gets hacked will Reverse NX and overclocking work on it?

Some games like Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Dragon Quest 11 will look better with docked flags enabled. Other games like Astral Chain and Assassins Creed IV will look much better with 60fps patches and overclocking.

If the new solution (which is allegedly in the works) enables homebrew for the Switch Lite there's no reason why it wouldn't work. Worst case scenario Reverse NX would need an update to work on it, but it most likely would.

We still need details about the new solution, if there's any at all...

Well, yeah, why wouldn’t it :P

But the more interesting thing is the normal sized Mariko units ;), if they ever get hacked you could run them at docked speeds in handheld and use Reverse-NX to get significantly better graphics in handheld while still having better battery life than the OG Switch.

So apparently the Switch Lite has downclocked 2133 MhZ RAM. If we are able to run sysclock/freebird and Reverse NX on the Switch Lite in the future then it will be the definitive way to play games with performance issues*.

For a graphics whore like me, some Switch games like Mario Kart 8, Smash Ultimate and Hollow Knight run great straight out the box, others like those mentioned above need the lower resolution 720p screen, overclocking and Reverse NX to meet my expectations.

* Maybe the Switch Pro will change this. Yuzu will become the clear winner sooner or later.

4gb 2133mhz LPDDR4X, yeah. It runs at 1331mhz in handheld, overclocking would allow it to go to 1600mhz.

Overclocking on the Lite would be “meh”, you’d have to keep it plugged in at all times like OG switches.

>Switch Pro
lol

Why would it not be able to go all the way up to 2133MhZ?

True but given that I tend to play at home laying on the couch this doesn't change anything. Some say the Switch Lite feels more comfortable to hold and from personal experience the Hori JoyCon's minus button sucks.

lol
What I meant to say is that a hacked Switch Lite might be better than a stock Switch Pro. I assume that the Switch Pro will have a higher default GPU clock meaning that dynamic resolution games like Astral Chain will run at a higher average resolution while games with unlocked framerates like Hyrule Warriors will have higher framerates. Games locked to 30fps will remain at 30fps unless the developer releases a patch. This means Astral Chain will only run at 60fps if Platinum Games decides to release a patch which they may not.

I believe Switch Lite and "new" Switches run the same firmware as the old ones so they should work without any changes, as long as your firmware version is compatible.

Nintendo’s pcv sysmodule only allows you to go upto 1600mhz. Similarly, you’d only be ale to go upto 921mhz/1785mhz GPU/CPU despite the hardware being able to do 1.2ghz/2091mhz GPU/CPU.

Eh, fair :P

It’d probably be about the same as <hardware revision>, seeing as <hardware revision> is probably the same Mariko chip we have now with higher clocks :P

but,for now,it still can not normally work on switch lite---although reversenx can run on switch lite, but switch lite still run in handhold mode……
is there someone can fix it?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

但是,到目前为止,它仍然不能正常地在开关精简版上工作:wacko:---尽管reversenx可以在开关精简版上运行,但是开关精简版仍在手持模式下运行……
有没有人可以解决?:不确定:

[QUOTE =“ ZachyCatGames,发布:8893947,成员:452160”]任天堂的pcv sysmodule仅允许您提高到1600MHz。同样,尽管硬件能够执行1.2ghz / 2091mhz GPU / CPU,但您最多只能提高到921mhz / 1785mhz GPU / CPU。

嗯,公平 :P

它可能与<硬件修订版>大致相同,因为<硬件修订版>可能与我们现在使用的时钟频率更高的Mariko芯片相同:P[/ QUOTE]
but, although switch lite set gpu clock to 921mhz,but it still only work on 768mhz(by status monitor)……and reversenx can not normally on switch lite……
Bro...are you drunk?

So does this mean going above 921/1785Mhz GPU/CPU clocks would require assembly hacking Nintendo's PCV sysmodule?
