Homebrew Will Ninjhax ever work again for Ver. 9.4?

If the Arm9 exploit still isn't patched you can bet your ass Gateway might find a way to get to it. Hell I would not be surprised hat 9.3/9.4 support is their "surprise" feature. Perhaps they are keeping it a surprise so the exploit goes un-patched for a few more firmware updates. If that's the case you can pretty much guarantee that N3DSs in North America and ones from other regions will have exploitable firmware out of the box for the foreseeable future.

Definitely something Gateway would have incentive in preserving for future customers. ;)

I wish it would work on 9.4 one day (mine is 9.4), but with ninjahax covering every 3ds out of the box as of now there is no reason for them to look for another exploit in the foreseeable future.

If that's the case, how come Regionthree works on 9.4? Granted it's only userland, but in most cases that's enough for homebrew.

If I remember correctly, stages three and four were patched in 9.3, and fully patched in 9.4. Regionthree uses a GPU DMA hack, which has not yet been patched.

As for you disengage_0, you just need to have patience. There are already a few people using the webkit hack to hijack other apps and display images, text, etc. like Regionthree is able to. It may seem like it is unimportant, but it is a large step. They eventually may be able to load something similar to the homebrew launcher via a binary hex file.

I suspect that we'll see a 9.5 or 10.0 around Majora's Mask / American New 3DS launch that will patch the ARM9 exploit and the web browser exploit.
